Superior Hydration
As the temperature rises, so does the need for hydration! The Importance of Water for Your Body The human body was designed with an internal purification system to ensure it can stay healthy and free of toxicity. Water is key to ensure that your body is able to purify itself from the inside out. Without enough water, the body will suffer from dehydration. Over time it can become weighed down with toxins and pollutants that get stored rather than expelled. This can lead to countless health problems. The quality of water you drink is just as essential as the quality of food you eat. Tap water, bottled water, and yes, even well water, contain toxins that your body must detox before it can use to water to detoxify you. This is why consuming clean, quality water is crucial to your body’s ability to detox and to avoid adding unnecessary toxins in the first place. A variety of studies and independent tests on water sampled throughout the United States have been found to be contaminated with microorganisms, heavy metals such as chromium, chlorine, fluoride, pesticides, pharmaceutical drugs, and even arsenic. And if that’s not enough, the EWG (Environmental Working Group) reports that there are no legal limits for more than 160 unregulated contaminants in U.S. tap water. The EWG has a tap water database linked by zip code. Enter your zip code to learn if there are contaminants in your drinking water. If your water source comes from a private well, you are responsible for contaminant testing. We recommend filtering your water with a Reverse Osmosis filtration system. Our favorite is the AQUATru (not sponsored). Their Reverse Osmosis filteration systems are certified to NSF standards to remove contaminants including lead, arsenic, PFAS, fluoride, chlorine, nitrates, and many more. WATER DOESN’T HAVE TO BE BORING! This months goal is to push the boundaries on the flavor of hydration.
